    Hi Norrie,

I see you have downloaded the 2.2 update, which will make things simpler if you’re an E-drummer.

In Pro Tools, make sure you do not Filter out any Controller data. IIRC, Aftertouch/Poly Pressure is filtered by Default, which is needed for Cymbal chokes.

Just connect your module to the 003 with the MIDI cable and set your Playback Engine H/W Buffer Size to as low as your PC can take without getting underruns.
Also be sure to not Insert any latency inducing plugins in the Audio path, e.g. a MultiBand Compressor on the Master Fader.

In Superior 2, you just select the kit you wish to use, then select the ‘E-Drums’ MIDI Preset.
This will give you a starting point to tweak from but Floor Tom Rim note and, depending on your exact setup, some other note will need Learning/setting up.
In the MIDI Preset Menu you will also find Pedal Correction alternatives.
When you have set everything up to your liking, you save your own MIDI Preset to be recalled with another library/kit.

Some Roland module users also set LOCAL=OFF to further reduce latency.

If you wish to use your E-drums with Superior 2 without running Pro Tools, you can use Toontrack solo as host.

    Best Regards,
    John
