This is THE most difficult website to read I’ve EVER come across. Is there ANY reason why the writing couldn’t be white so it would actually show up against the black background? It took me 10 minutes to find where to log in. The only way to read the writing is to highlight everything so it shows up.
On the reason I’m here…
I have several questions. Would somebody please explain the licensing policy to me? I don’t see it in writing anywhere, so I can read it for myself. I guess the only way to know what it is would be to ask here on the forum or contact support?
I see & understand that ‘owners’ of EZX (Drummer, Keys, etc) can have 2 Active Authorizations. That’s simple enough.
1) What are the other 2 Activations/Authorizations?
2) Am I allowed to move the licenses/Activations around as long as I only have 2 Active at any one time?
3) When I reach 4 total authorizations for my product & my computer crashes & I need to install EZX again, am I just SOL & won’t be able to activate my product again? Or do I contact support & they’ll give me another X authorizations again?
4) If I own EZKeys & want to be able to activate it on 2 additional computers, is it possible to purchase additional ‘Authorizations’ or do I have to purchase the whole product? It would be nice to be able to purchase additional authorizations for a lower cost, since we already purchased the product.
Thank you for any help anyone will provide.
Hi,
1) “spare” ones, if you e.g. change computer or motherboard.
2) well, yes but you don’t actually “move” them. You Authorize and remove Authorizations. 2 active ones at the same time, yes.
3) You contact Support and we’ll free up Authorizations
4) You mean to have 4 active Authorized computers at the same time? That’s currently another license, which is the product.

John

Thanks for the help.
An additional question about Authorizations. What if I remove an Authorization for computer & then decide to Authorize it again? Is that possible? or do I eliminate that computer for “re-authorization” once I remove the Authorization?
OK. I guess I actually have 2 questions. Would you guys ever consider providing the purchase of ‘Additional Authorizations’ at a reduced price for users who have already purchased the product? Or is that “unreasonable”?
As a long time owner/user of EZDrummer & recent purchaser of EZKeys & somebody who as several computers to work from, I’ve had many occasions where I was working on a project & went looking for EZDrummer only to find out that it wasn’t installed on THAT computer, so I wasn’t able to use it in the project like I wanted to. Had I been able to purchase an extra 2 Authorizations, I would have been good to go.
Fortunately, you guys have recently reduced the price of EZDrummer, which allows the possibility of purchasing EZDrummer for another 2 computers; which I have done. I know that a “side trip”, but I wanted to say that I use EZDrummer all the time. I often even use it just to practice with to keep my timing ‘in tact’ & not have to deal with the boredom of the metronome. Even though I play keys, I still bought EZKeys to help me be a BETTER keyboard player.
I just thought I’d throw those things in there for anyone who might read this in the future. You guys make great, simple, useful products. THANKS.

Not at all. I suggest you please post about this in the Requests & Feedback section.
