I am really thinking about getting a EZ mix 2 + six pack bundle.
I have been looking into what it is, and offers, and I understand its basically simplified “proven” effects chains, with minimal parameters to adjust.
I have a few questions before I buy though.
Can you use it as a stand alone program to just jam through (not recording), with no latency/lag? (EDIT) I see its got a stand alone, so lets see about the lag once I have it
I assume it has no issues while using it as a plugin in FL Studio from Image Line? (EDIT) I see it is officially supported.
For the time based effects like lets say some Delay, or Echo. For presets that contain these effects will you be able to adjust the delay time?
Also while being used as a plugin in a DAW, is there a match BPM to host, (or at least a set BPM, to do it manually)?
Also while using it in a DAW, are their any issues to having multiple instances of it open, even say on the same mixer channel? (EDIT) I seem to have found the answer to this question in the main video. “Even having more than one instance of EZ mix on a single channel in the mixer.”
I have Pod Farm 2, and while I like it, it is seriously a cpu hog as well as takes time dialing in sometimes. I am trying to upgrade hardware modelling too, but I am trying to avoid the Pod HD systems.
I want a good software to compliment any hardware processing I decide to get, and I think EZ mix 2 is a good contender.
So I appreciate any answers to my above questions!
