Hi,
I have just bought ezdrummer. works treat and I’m very happy with the sound of the kit pieces and the functionality after using pre recorded loops for years. It is one of the best music purchases I have made.
One question though, what happened with the fills?? I thought i had stumbled upon a metal expansion pack. Don’t know if I’m the only one, but I find 95% of them overplayed, too busy and not useable in the context of pop and singer-songwriter music.
Where are the laid back natural fills that you hear on mainstream radio, yes, I know I could program them but that sort of defeats the purpose. I imagine other expansion packs have differently styled fills? Maybe americana or nasville? though I don’t want to really buy another expansion pack straight if possible I read that the songwriter packs’ fills were fairly ‘busy’ as well, so I would be worried about potentially getting one of those….maybe I heard wrong though.
Can you recommend some easy going midi fills for my music, even third party if toontrack don’t specialise in this?
Thanks heaps!
Jeremy
The two NirZ midi should have some cool fills, the more you buy the more choice you get.
I have found the EZ pop/rock quite useable because i do program a lot of the simple fills and go to these for the the stuff that cant be programmed,in that light it doesnt defeat the purpose as it gets to places i cant quite program or play myself.
Some are busy usually they are indicated as such.
The Classic,Nashville,Americana and blues are all very natural as is most of the SD2 midi.
Cheers
