Question about the ride cymbal

    It’s tough in EZD Standalone. If you find a preset that has a Ride Channel on the Mixer Tab you might be able to have less room/ambient mics and more direct Ride sound. I only say that if you’re desperate though.

    It’s necessary to use a DAW in this case. It’s typical that sustaining overtones ring at a specific note/frequency, and you would use an EQ to lower that specific frequency’s volume. Can send you a vid link if you wish that has the general idea.

    Yes, Im using it in Logic Pro X. I do have a ride channel, But the Ambience and Overheads over power it. Is there a way to take ride out of Overheads and Ambience Room?

    Is there a way to put a ride cymbal from Drum Kit Designer into EZdrummer 3?

    Maybe Bear Face will advise you on the Logic feature, he tend to lurk. I’m not a Logic guru.

    Other than using a One Shot as explained above, you wouldn’t be able to directly bring in the ride cymbal from logic’s drummer. However, you can use a track stack to stack both an EZD3 and a producer kit and put your MIDI regions at the top of the stack and then filter the midi on each track to trigger what you want.
