I had the project manager for a long time then it disappeared. I’ve tried reinstalling several times. It acts like the Install app is going to install and ask for permission, after that nothing happens. Using Win 10 and have many Toontrack Products. Any help is appreciated.
I have the same issue, I just bought a brand new Mac pro 13 for the main purpose to use superior drummer three on my new custom Ed rum set.
it took me a while to even find someone to tell me to download the project manager first, I did that and downloading was a breeze, however, installing it is an ongoing nightmare that I have not accomplished yet..
it will not install one single program that I have spent two days downloading.
I might be ignorant but that is OK..
my biggest issue with toontrack is there is absolutely no customer service, you cannot reach anybody by phone, if you try to reach them by email you can only address the issues they list on the FAQ and if that does not address your concern then you’re screwed.
I think this is a very expensive product with the least amount of customer service as possible.
seems like toontrack makes it difficult for you to even ask a question.

A very small part of Win 10 systems have this issue with some of our software installers and we have not been able to find the cause. Reinstalling Win 10 seems to cure it, but you don’t need to do that. For Product Manager, the easiest solution is to use one of the other installers included in the download, even if it says they are for Windows 7 or 8. There is another workaround, which is useful if you run into the same issue with software updates. It is explained here: https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/i-cant-re-install-product-manager-2/.

It does not seem like the same issue at all. I see in the logs that you have installed the Product Manager and you have been using it to download Superior Drummer 3 and its sound library. The SD3 software has even been installed and authorized through Product Manager. If there is still some problem, you can contact support, for example via the button on this page: https://www.toontrack.com/faq/how-do-i-contact-support/. Even if you do it from a FAQ that does not match your issue, they will of course try to help you anyway.

I tried going thru the command prompt and had exactly the same results as running the exe file. I installed using the Win 7 exe and I’ve got the manager back but Still can’t get any of the updates to install. I have 62 products installed from toontrack. It downloaded 8 updates, ready to install but if I try to install it just says installer running and all the others install is shadowed out. I’ve even gone directly to the download files and unzipped them and tried to run the install update for that particular product with the same results.. Nothing changes / updates.
Still trying to get my updates to install but I guess you’ve noticed there are different downloads for pc vs Mac. Not trying to be smart but it took me a while to notice this but I think the default was pc so I didn’t notice the option existed.
use win 7 installer …after installed it will update
however SD3 installer would then not install
seems software companies have put profit before customers…im pretty sick of looking at forums and googling problems
WE WANT TO PLAY MUSIC……
not work for software companies
please show some responsibility
drag sd3 exe file from downloads to desktop ….the copy adn paste below into cmd admin remember to add your user name instead …pasting into word to change then re copy before pasting into cmd prompt….good luck
