Hi there,
Extremely new to Superior Drummer so sorry if this is very obvious, but when using some kicks on the Prog. Foundry kit (which sounds amazing), the sound of the ‘Hit’ articulation and the ‘Open’ articulation (I believe that is what the second one is called) sound very different. Being not an actual drummer myself, hence why I am playing them from a keyboard, I’m not even sure what the open articulation is. Either way, I am not a fan of the different sounding kicks, and would like to keep them similar. This is most evident on the Yamaha kick.
However, I can’t get SD to not play that articulation, as every hit it cycles between the two (I’m guessing a certain type of pedal that hits on both?) Either way, how can I get SD to just repeat the ‘Hit’ articulation over and over and not cycle between the two?
Just to clarify, even if I unmap the ‘open’ articulation it still cycles between the two. Preferably, I would like to be able to have both set to different notes to choose what sound would be played when. I know this may not be the most realistic but oh well.
Thank you in advance,
Jacob
Select the the first kick and in the Humanize box on the right, uncheck “Alternate”, then do the same with the other kick and see if that solves your problem.

Well, whatayaknow, it worked! That was easy. After spending so long dinking around with the mapping I figured I would eventually be editing code or something lol. Thank you!
