    Hi,

    where is you ‘Downloads’ location (set in the PM Preferences)?

    How exactly have you checked that your installs are current?

    Hello John, I always use C>users>myname>downloads. I did notice it had been different in The PM. After changing it it didn’t resolve the problem. I check the download being offered in PM (version/build) with the one I currently am using. Except the sound libraries updates ect.Download-manager-window.PNG

    Hi,

    these are the questions and advice I got in return:
    > He should check “Details – Installation Info” in PM to see what it believes is currently installed and what needs to be updated.

    > In what way do the installations fail? Perhaps he means those download errors? If an installer gives an error message, it would be useful to know what it says.

    > The download errors seem to indicate that the download location is/was write protected, PM couldn’t create files there. Switching to another application (e.g. click on the desktop to switch to Explorer) and back to PM should remove traces of those downloads so that ‘Move Downloads’ can be performed in the Options window. If they still won’t go away, click Show Downloads on the left side and delete each of those 0-byte downloads, then download the updates again (which will make them get downloaded to the new download location).

    Sorry John, I’m a little confused as to what your response is. As for check the details installation area see what it believes is installed… it is wrong. how would I know on some of the library updates.

    when I go to the details installation info it does not give me any more information.

    I don’t see any indication of a write protected download location. Where is that seen? I use the same download location as always. It doesn’t seem to make any difference at all if I click on the descktop, then back to the PM window. If that is indeed what is being suggested here.Product-mangr.-Error-2.PNG

    Did you follow the advice to delete the downloads, change download location in the Preferences and then try to download again?

    Hey John. As stated I don’t see any change when I switch to another app. as suggested. I don’t get a delete even when I use the “clean-up” function. The (579 MB) of disk space shown, never goes away. As of now, I have powered through some downloads..meaning attempted to download the files repeatably, until they actually complete. As of now I have a marathon 3h 15 min download going on after clicking thee download button. Something is definitely wrong. I could re-download my whole drive in that time normally. This is occupying way too much of my time.
    BTW the most recent completed downloads, and installs were completed with the current settings of download location. So it works.
    Question; do I wait to complete the 3 hour download? I will post the most recent window. Notice the download time. Also notice the list of complete downloads.
    I keep installing update for EZ Keys player 32bit Grand piano, and Retro Electrics. The Product Manager never changes it display to acknowledge the update is complete. Even though I have gone through the download steps repeatably without any error windows. PM still shows “Install Updates”

    My Web version download page.. doesn’t seem to communicate, with my PM. It seems to think.. all is well with the EZKeys products. But, thinks my Pop Rock needs to be Authorized!WEB-page.PNG

    Thanks Scott. I’m sure you are correct. Matter of fact, I have generally found the staff at Toontrack very capable, and willing to go… above , and beyond to help in support of the many great products! I have no doubt, overlooked responses, and even lost them to spam!! My Bad!
