    Hi,

In PM, please click on “Show Details” for one of the EZXs and then go to the “Installation Info” tab. Does it say that both Sound Library and MIDI are missing?

Then please use this command in Command Prompt:
    reg query HKLMSoftwareWow6432NodeToontrackSuperiorEZDrummer /v HomePath

Does that show the correct path where your EZXs are installed?

All items show the Sound Library as missing. Some of them also say MIDI is missing, some of them show as installed.
Running that command shows where my MIDI is installed (D:ezx), but not the libraries which are on L:
I now see under the Authorizations tab that my EZXs were authorized under my new computer name instead of my original computer that authorized the SD2 and SDX. Can I change all of these to match the new (current) computer without losing a license?

EZX: A, LP, MoM, MM, M!, MH, N1H, RS, R!
    DAW: Reaper 64-bit

Alternatively, could I change that registry value to L:ezx, create the folder, and then move my EZXs (and the MIDIs) into that new folder to resolve the issue?

Yes, that’s a way to fix it.

I’m curious, have you moved each EZX to L: after installing it and then added the path to it in SD2? Or did they get installed directly to L: and directly worked?

OK that was definitely the best way to fix this. Once I change the regedit value, created the folder, and moved the EZXs, PM immediately stated that it needed to authorize the new 8 items. Then it showed I had 16 updates for them, and I downloaded/installed all of it painlessly.

Yes I’m sure that’s the way I would have done it. After upgrading to Windows 10 Pro from Windows 7 x64, and upgrading a hard drive to 3TB, the folders were a mess and I cleaned them up. I’m used to adding the folders via SD2’s settings page, that’s the way I would have done it.

Thanks for the tip on the registry, it looks like it fixed everything!*

EDIT: The only product that didn’t get fixed was Made of Metal, which is an EZX2. I updated the registry key SL_Path_EZX2_MadeOfMetal value to L:ezxEZX2_MadeOfMetal, but it still wants me to download it. In PM under Installation Info it says Sound Library > INSTALLED VERSION 1.0.0

Also, Made of Metal was the only item that had a Download Authorization link, which gave me a Made_of_Metal_EZX.ttauth file to download. What am I supposed to do with this?

In the registry, this is the only one with a strange looking key: G3CPKeyExt_EZX2_MadeOfMetal, which has the contents of a TT_AUTH_KEY key in the value instead of a serial number. All the others have a CPKeyExt_EZX… key.

The Made_of_Metal_EZX.ttauth file to download, that’s only on the web page, to be used for “offline” authorization. You don’t need it if you authorize the EZX through PM.

PM wants you to download it but shows the sound library version 1.0.0 is installed? Is the MIDI missing, then (in “Installation Info”)?

Exactly right, the MIDI is shown as Not installed, and even though Sound Library 1.0.0 is shown as installed, and it wants to download the whole 1.6GB again.
The library works properly within Reaper.

Well, unless you can locate the 1908@EZX_MADE_OF_METAL folder somewhere on your disks and move it to L:ezxMidi, you have to use the 1.6 GB installer to get it installed.

OK I found it inside the initial download I had of MoM, copied it out of the zip and into my MIDI folder, now I was able to authorize it properly. Thanks for your help.

I have this same problem on a Mac (OS X 10.11.5). I.e., PM finds SDX that were installed to a custom location but not EZX.

I did the entire download, install, authorize process again using PM and that worked fine and the Installation Info tab for each library shows that the Sound Library and MIDI are in Library/Application Support/EZDrummer.

Now if I drag the installed EZX folders from Library/Application Support/EZDrummer/ to my desired custom install location (as described here: https://www.toontrack.com/faq/how-do-i-move-the-sounds-for-ezdrummer-2/ ) PM will then list each EZX library as “Not installed” in the Installation Info tab. In the Superior II/Options screen I can simply browse to the new location of the moved libraries, but PM provides no way of doing that as far as I can see.

(on Mac) If you don’t have EZdrummer to set the initial path then you will have to live with EZXs in the default path I’m afraid.

Alternatively you could grab the EZdrummer demo from the site and its installer *should* allow you to specify a custom path if it does not find anything in /Library/Application Support/EZDrummer/ (i.e rename that folder for the duration of the demo installation then move your EZX into the custom location). It is still unsupported though, so you may or may not get the result you want.

The “EZDrummer demo” solution worked. Thanks.
