Howdy
I’ve got an issue where we tracked a performance using a TD30, and it worked great, except for randomly, occasionally throughout the performance, there are notes that you cannot change the velocity..they appear to be “stuck” – To clarify, you can move the velocity slider up and down fine, but the sound it triggering is exactly the same. Doesn’t matter if you set the velocity to 1 or 127, the sound triggered doesn’t change.
Additionally, there are certain hits (particularly on the hihat) that even though they appear to be on the right spot on the piano roll, they are producing a different sound – for instance, there is a closed hihat sound even though it is sitting on the open hihat line. It is only in certain spots and appears to be completely random.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated as this is quite time sensitive 🙁
Thanks!
Hi,
I haven’t seen that, could you perhaps zip a Session file and attach it to a post here?

I figured it out! It seems to be that the midi region itself in Pro Tools seemed to be caching old information… some kind of glitch I guess. I fixed it by just deleting that section of the entire region and adding a new one instead of trying to change the notes within the region that was already there.
