GDCcommanderHey everyone – new user here, absolutely banging my head against the wall. Is there anyone that could point me to a walkthrough on this setup? Currently:
If I run MIDI Out of the TD-27 into the AudioBox, and then USB into the MacBook from there, SD3 will recognize the AudioBox and the MIDI Source, but the VDrums won’t trigger SD3. If I run straight out of the TD into the Mac via MIDI-over-USB, it will see the TD-27 as a MIDI source, but be totally wrong in the mapping when I select it, and I can only get output from the MacBook speakers.
I’m sure it’s user error here – the idea is that I want to run this setup with the interface for live use, but at minimum need to at least get headphone output from the Mac so that I can at least run it, and deal with figuring out why the mapping is so messed up (the bow of cymbal 1 is correct. The bell of the same cymbal is triggering cymbal 4?) It’s likely something I have set wrong on the TD-27, but I went through and enabled all MIDI in/outs there.
Any help or suggestion on a walkthrough or instruction would be appreciated.
