I’ve seen a number of post requesting that Toontrack make its plugins available for the NKS protocol. Having just purchased a S49 MK3, I would like to add to the chorus making this request. Spending a week with this controller has added so much to my workflow. I can understand that there may be some hesitency on Toontrack’s part to work with a competitor. But it looks like there is more demand for the advance kind of tagging provided by NKS. The upcoming Ableton Live 12 has a similar tagging feature in its browser. After collecting so many EZ products and extensions, it would be very helpful to have a way to sort through them all quickly in one place without having to interrupt your workflow. Even if Toontrack does not want to use NKS (which I would prefer), I’d still like to see them come up with a convenient method to search through all their presets. If you don’t want to use NKS, then come up with your own. Do something. I find it confusing that this would be such a controversial request.
