I am new at this, but purchasing the right product(s) is a little confusing. I don’t know what to choose. I think I see that in addition to the core product, there are hundreds of add-ons and midi files of different styles. The two styles that I write in are pop and EDM. (is EDM a style, or is it referred to by another name?)
First, I’m not sure if these products can handle these styles without buying more and more. I am 68 years old and on a very limited budget, so I want to make sure I’m buying the right things and just what I need, at least for now (for all 3 products). How does this all work & what would I choose for the styles I want to create?
Also, I was looking around to see what all was included in the ezdrummer, ezkeys, and ezbass products, but could not find this information.
Can you help me to sort this out so I can purchase just what I need to complete this work using pop and EDM styles? I want to make the right decision(s) without overspending for some things that I may not need. Thanks for your help.

If you want EZD2, EZkeys, and EZbass to sync and work together, you’ll need a DAW (Cubase, Pro Tools, Reaper, Studio One, et al).
Each product comes with a sound library:
EZD2: Modern kit and a Vintage kit plus a MIDI library of various styles.
EZkeys: you can select your sound library (EZkeys Instruments). All Instruments come with the same MIDI library
EZbass: Modern bass and vintage bass sound library. It comes with a MIDI library of various styles.
If you want to expand your sound libraries for EZD2, there are sound expansion packs (EZXs) and Drum MIDI packs. EZXs contain sounds and a small MIDI library. Drum MIDI libraries are just MIDI and no sounds
EZkeys sound expansions are just sounds without extra MIDI (the same MIDI library shops with all EZkeys sound expansions). Then there are EZkeys MIDI packs that are MIDI performances broken into verse, chorus, bridge, etc.
EZbass is new and currently doesn’t have any expansion packs available (sounds nor MIDI).
Let me know if you need any further info.
