Another brief question, based on the recent thread. POP Midi page has a note that “this is the same midi that appears in Pop EZX”. Pop EZX is a drum kid. Pop Midi is midi grooves. Does the note mean that ALL the midi grooves that appear in Pop Midi are also found in POP EZX? If so, I would prefer to purchase POP EZX for the additional cost and get it’s new drum kit along with all the groove. Thanks.
Yes,
the MIDI in the POP! MIDI Pack is the MIDI from the POP! EZX.
IOW, if you buy the POP! EZX you get both the sounds and the MIDI.

and as noted in another thread, some MIDI grooves really, really shine when played on the drumkit library on which they were performed/created.
The Pop! EZX being another one of those, like the Latin EZX and Jazz EZX, where hits on specific kit pieces in the course of the groove are what makes the groove unique.
And I agree, if I’m buying a MIDI pack for its unique groove stylings, I’ll spend a few dollars more and get a whole library of drum kits and samples.
