The “Hi-Hat Pedal Control” slider with its 8 stages or points (“Tight” up to “Open6”) is not working correctly:
Apart from the fact that you are not able to “skip Tight” manually with a button or a setting I get weird stuff when merging the points “Open1” up to “Open5” with the “Closed”-point that is about half an inch above the “Tight”-point (at 126). So If thinking logically consistent I would presume that after the “Closed” articulaton (which for example is triggered by CC 126 – 110) there is only the max open sound (“Open6”) (…because once again: I can only see this one point (“Open6”) about half an inch above the “Tight”-point because all the other points are merged with it…). But guess what: I can hear at least one further open-closed stage (that I presumed having eliminated with this setting) at the transition “Closed” to “Open6”. What is this?? Can’t it work logically consistent??? And in some cases I cannot hear a tight aritculation though the “Tight”-point is there! And I don’t want to use any preset or calibrate things (!!!) because I want to manually control this setting and therfore it has to work with logical consistence! Is that a tall order when referring to SD3??
