Please fix these design failures in Superior Drummer 3:
1. Bouncing / Exporting audio files automatically assigns file name of “Out_1+2.wav” FAIL / WRONG / BAD
This is a stupid waste of time. Please fix this immediately so user can name output files as they are created.
2. Drum sounds can only be previewed after loading them into the drum set in SD3 FAIL / WRONG / BAD
EZDrummer 2 allows previewing of all drum sounds with one simple click.
3. EZdrummer 2 project files cannot be opened in SD3. FAIL / WRONG / BAD All EZ2 files should be usable in SD3.
EZDrummer 2 is better than SD3 in most ways. the ONLY advantage SD3 has is the GRID editor. There is NO other good reason to use SD3 over EZ2.
Thank you
1. If you are using the ‘Bounce Output Channels’ option to Bounce through the Mixer, each Output you use gets a Stereo Bounced Wave file.
If you Rename e.g. the ‘Out 1/2’ Output to ‘My Best Song’, the resulting Bounced file will be named ‘Out_My_Best_Song.wav’.
2. Use the Search for Instrument function when you right-click an instrument. This allows for previewing all instruments from all libraries as well as auditioning all articulations.
Unlike EZD2 that only allows you to load, say, snares to load in the snare position, Superior Drummer 3 allows you to load any instrument from any one of your installed sound libraries to any position in the kit. The Search for Instrument is an easier way to audition and load sounds.
3. That would be a good Feature Request.
