I’m trying to program a pattern using the Cajon from the Latin Percussion Series. The problem is the delivery of the sounds. When I test the sound with the cursor over the box, I get this nice robust, somebody slapped the box sound. But when I trigger it from my keyboard, I get this whimpy brush kind of sound. Even with the velocity cranked up full, I cannot get the get the full slapped box sound from the cajon. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?
