Percussion_EZX_Library_Update 157 fails- soundb0.obw does not exist

Downloaded then extracted then attempted install

TT109_Latin_Percussion_EZX_Library_Update_WIN_157 Update fails.

Log error “soundb0.obw does not exist”.

Reinstalled from Toontrack Installer, version 1.2.0, build 9967, TT109_EZX_Latin_Percussion_Update_WIN_155

no errors logged, No problem with application, BUT still no soundb0.obw file created either…

Read related forum post suggesting 7zip for extract, tried that, no difference.

Attempted again the 157 update, same error.

Are you installing through the Toontrack Product Manager? If not, please try that.

To be able to install the update, you need to reinstall Latin Percussion. The full download, version 1.5.5, contains soundb0.obw (instead of lots of wav files) and there’s a clear speed benefit in having this installed too.

As I said previously, I installed 1.5.5 update, then attempted 1.5.7 update which failed. I uninstalled and reinstalled from DVD then updated 1.5.5 again and attempted 1.5.7 again, which fails. Log excerpt here:

It won’t help to reinstall from DVD. You need to uninstall and then use only the Product Manager to install the product.
