I respectfully disagree with pretty much everything you said. “Save as cookie” is just another way of saying “Remember me”, which is quite a convenient as well as common forum feature.

?  My whole life is Log-ins and passwords.   When i receive a confirmation email about any  log-in I file it in my email account.
If i forget it i go and have a look.

    Studioz,

the process when you register your product(s) automatically creates a Forum ID forum for you, so the only thing you need to do is to pay attention while doing so.
I can see your products are registered to the same e-mail address as your Forum ID, so I do not quite get what you’re upset about?
If you wish to change the password for your Forum ID, you just click ‘My Profile’ and ‘Change Password’.
If you wish to change the password for your Toontrack account, you just click ‘Account’ and then change the password.
This way it is easy to set both passwords to be the same if that’s what you want.

Let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Best Regards,
    John
