    Hi,

Toontrack never comment on future releases but always monitor the Requests & Feedback section.

Yes, please! Orchestral percussion – both melodic (timpani, mallets (glockenspiel, xylophone etc etc)) and percussive (snares, gongs, toms, bells, cymbals, rainsticks, woodblocks, triangles, etc etc etc).

Might, however, be hard to make loops with..

Yeah come on Toontrack. I think you’ve beat the “metal” drums libraries to death. SD ED can be so much more. Latin Jazz and world music styles are seriously missing too!

It would be nice to have a freaking gong. As far as orchestral percussion, yes. It could work well in rock/metal songs in things like bridges, intros, etc.

I love it all, classical is nice to integrate into heavy metal ect. Orchestral percussion – both melodic (timpani, mallets (glockenspiel, xylophone etc etc)) and percussive (snares, gongs, toms, bells, cymbals, rainsticks, woodblocks, triangles, etc etc etc). I am ready……….Gene

Two years later…and my request for Orchestral SDX came through!

Now…if they would price it more reasonably and LESS then what I paid for the entire SD3 application…that would be nice. 🙂

For me, this is one of the best SDX packs ever. I’ve experimented and produced so much with it now. The sounds are brilliant. Just unbelievably amazing. And Toontrack has done a great job down to the last detail. Also essential for the production of Dance Music are the Human Groups: Stomps, Claps and Snaps. A.C.I.M. Dancecrew sounds. Just crazy good! I love it!

You can not use SDX Sound Libraries in EZD3 (only the MIDI). It works the other way around though, you can load EZXs in SD3.

Yes, the Orchestral Percussion SDX requires the Superior Drummer 3 software.
