Also when loading up the Mallet Library Preset or Drum Kit… Under Edrums I see the many articulations to trigger. On the Grid Editor I only can access seemingly “Bow Tip”. Bell and Edge are greyed out.
I can’t reproduce your Opening Hit issue on my system, I’ll ask my colleagues to check this out.
The other thing is working as intended, if I understand it correctly. The Ride Bell and Edge articulations weren’t sampled with the Mallets but the Triggers must still work so substitution takes place.
I’m also unable to reproduce the issue with Opening Hit here. Would you be able to attach an .ezd3p project here in that state where the MIDI note for the Crash you have in Grid Editor doesn’t make sound?
Or do you remember what you did before you started recording the video? Did you have some other library loaded or did you have Opening Hit on something other than that crash cymbal?

Ah, I can see what has happened now and I know how to reproduce it. In this case, you had loaded that groove and then trimmed it from the left, making it half the length. Opening hit was activated by default and that opening hit was moved to the start of the “new” shorter groove, but something is wrong with that opening note that was moved.
