    Hi,

That is odd… Could you please open Applications > Utilities > Terminal and paste the following diagnostic commands there (all at once) and press Enter:

    /usr/libexec/PlistBuddy -c 'Print :SoundPath' /Users/Shared/Toontrack/Preferences/com.toontrack.ezkeys.plist
    /usr/libexec/PlistBuddy -c 'Print :SoundPath' ~/Library/Preferences/com.toontrack.ezkeys.plist
    ls -aleO "`/usr/libexec/PlistBuddy -c 'Print :SoundPath' /Users/Shared/Toontrack/Preferences/com.toontrack.ezkeys.plist`/Midi/"
    md5 "`/usr/libexec/PlistBuddy -c 'Print :SoundPath' /Users/Shared/Toontrack/Preferences/com.toontrack.ezkeys.plist`/Midi/000832@DISCO"
    echo

Then copy all text from the Terminal and paste it in your reply.

Hmm, everything looks perfectly fine there. If you open Toontrack Product Manager again, click “Show Details” for Disco EZkeys MIDI and then click on “Installation Info”, what does it say (screenshot please)?

Have you tried restarting the Product Manager?

Yes – no change.  Same with reboot.   So odd that it’s just this one.  Is there a plist somewhere that I should manually edit?

    Olof

No, there’s no plist for that, PM just needs to be able to read the Disco file and I can’t see any reason why it would fail. But I have an idea – we could check what disk accesses PM performs, maybe that can give some clue! So if you’d like, please do the following:

    1. Open Product Manager.
    2. Open Terminal (in Applications > Utilities).
    3. Paste the following line to Terminal and hit Enter:
      sudo fs_usage `ps aux | awk '/\/Toontrack Product Manager$/{print $2}'` > ~/Desktop/PM_fs_usage.txt
    4. It will then prompt for your password, so type your computer/admin password (which will be invisible as you type it) and hit Enter.
    5. Activate the Product Manager window. That will make it silently rescan what products are installed.
    6. Switch back to the Terminal and press Ctrl-C (which will stop the ‘fs_usage’ command so that it no longer checks what PM is doing). You can then also quit Terminal and Product Manager.
    7. Look on your desktop for a file named PM_fs_usage.txt. Please attach it here.

Awesome! It should be fixed now. There was a typo in the server database, a capital ‘I’ that should have been lowercase.

hello I am having a really hard time trying to figure out what I need to download to make every thing work. first I bought Gospel EZ keys  to run on my DAW Logic Pro. the sales person at Sweetwater said I needed to download the EZMix 2 in order for it to work. EZ Mix 2 downloaded but Gospel Ez keys still won’t install. I am already $150 in the hole with the product not working. please can someone help. My Mac desktop is fully up to date so I really don’t understand what I am missing.

Sorry but you need the EZkeys software, which comes with any EZkeys instrument (sound library), to be able to use EZkeys MIDI packs, like it says under System Requirements for every MIDI pack. EZmix 2 has nothing to do with it.
