Old EZdrummer Lite serial number not working

Hi.
So i purchased EZdrummer Lite 5 years ago or something like that, but i never used it. Now i´m trying to use the product but every time i try to activate it says the authorization failed. I know the product is discontinued, but does that mean i can´t use it anymore?

Are you authorizing via the latest version of Product Manager?

I am using the latest version of Product Manager. The product is already registered and I can see my serial number on my PM account . But when I try to use the product it says the key is invalid.

What version number shows in PM from the Help menu? Does it show 1.0.2? If so, are you running an XP or Vista system? Anything newer than those OSs is unsupported.

I would recommend trying the EZD2 demo.

Yes it says 1.0.2 and I´m using Windows 8, but once I saw a person in this forum that could use EZdrummer Lite with windows 7 I wondered if there was a solution for this problem. That person was also recommended to download the EZD2 demo. This was a simple drum set, but always usable , just as any normal product, right? Or was it also a demo? So does this mean that I wont be able to use this product, even tho I could install it?

EZD Lite was a free demo to try and if liked, to upgrade to the full EZD product. It had no crash cymbals or toms and no alternative kick, snare, or hats and limited articulations.

I really don’t have an answer as to why it won’t authorize. It’s a discounted demo product, with an old installer trying to install on a newer and unsupported OS.

EZD1 was discontinued in 2014 and replaced with EZD2 and the EZD2 demo. I would suggest trying the EZD2 demo.

I have an Ezdrummer Lite serial number, since I bought an Alesis Drums (USB Pro Kit) and I want to activate it. I tried to register it as another users in MY PRODUCTS / + Register a new product (20 digit box), but I realize that my serial number is 24 digits. Could you help me please?
