I bought EZDrummer2 on Friday and used it for about 2 hours and realized it didn’t suit my needs as well as I thought it would so I put in a ticket to have it refunded. The weekend went by and I got no email back. I put in another on Sunday. Still no response.
First, I want to point out that in no way should my response here be construed as an official Toontrack response.
I do not work for Toontrack nor have I contacted them for an official response…
but looking thru the posted Toontrack “Terms & Service” policy,
as is the case with nearly all software purchases from any developer anywhere,
see bullet #8 “CANCELLATION POLICY.”
If you downloaded it, Toontrack doesn’t give refunds. Doesn’t matter if you haven’t used it, doesn’t matter if you purchased the wrong software by accident. They’ve put it in the terms and conditions that if you clicked download then they will not help you with a refund.
You would have had to confirm you agreed to these terms and conditions at checkout.
toontrack are a fucking disgrace I bought a brand new td17kvx2 and it doesn't work cymbals constantly muting impossible to fix. Customer support didn't know extremely unhelpful just telling me to install drivers with recommended settings despite me telling them I did in the email. Ezdrummer 3 is broken does not work as advertised. If a product doesn't work as advertised then a refund should be given
