Go to http://www.vexpressionsltd.com/20x.html to buy some kits for your TD-20SX. I think there’s only kits that are made with the existing sounds of the module, Roland modules don’t allow users to import their own sounds.
    I guess don’t know that ther’s a dedicated forum for Vdrums user, that’s http://www.vdrums.com/forum/forum.php
    That’s a very active community.

    TD-20SX?  Times are tough, eh?

I’m assuming you’re a Toontrack owner, since your on here.  Unless you’ve a tin ear, you won’t be satisfied with TD-20 sounds or VEX kits compared to EZ Drummer or Superior.  Not even remotely close.  What do you use to control your software now?  V-drums are also controllers, so all you need to do is hook your drums up to your computer and control your drum software with your kit.

Of course, I’m also assuming you own EZD or SD2, instead of another TT product.  If such isn’t the case, nevermind.

Congrats on the new kit at any rate.

Thanks for what you’ve said, but i probably should have said that this is my first electric drum kit, although i have had acoustics before. but then again ime in a whole new world now… so most of the things you have said are a little over my head at the mo. i should be learning quickly tho.
so any guidelines as to the best program to run my drum sounds would be great, as i wanna do some research before i buy a program, coz i paid enuf for the drums so i may as well do the same for the programs!
once again thanks and look forward to more help!

    One life, live it! Nate
