Something indie to me, with a 80’s vibe during the intro. Your drums are more present in the mix. Did you use your female vocals samples on this track ? It reminds me of yours on a former song (unless I’m wrong). Pleasant to hear !

Thank you for listening and commenting, I appreciate it!  The intro female vocals on “Don’t Let Him Take You Down” are from EastWest Hollywood Backup Singers: it’s not unusual that I use use Melodyne to do pitch tweaks on those vocals too.  Yes, I have used that vocal software on some of my other songs also.  It is 3 Black women, one of which has sung with Pink Floyd in the past.
