Hello ezdrummers! This is my first post as a new member and I’m glad to be a here! First, I am a total dummy when it comes to MIDI although I am not new to recording audio. I’ve stubbornly stayed away from MIDI and all it’s supposed benefits, real or imagined but now I find myself in need of MIDI no how and way behind the curve. The first thing I noticed after installing ezdrummer 2 was that there was no mention anywhere in the documentation of it’s use with Pro Tools! This after my retail sales rep where I do business assured me there would be no compatibility issues. So far he was right but I’ve only scratched the learning surface. I’m on Pro Tools 9, Windows 7, 32 bit. Is there a topic in the forums dedicated to beginners? That would be great so I wouldn’t have to bore the pros with my remedial questions! If not, you will just have to bare with me because I am determined to learn this. Oh, I forgot to say I’m an old guy. If that’s ok then let’s get started!
