    HI Michael,

I really love your approach, very tidy sound stage, very natural sound. Congrats very good work.

Only one thing, I’d prefer the Ac guitar miked rather then plugged. But then again its your approach, congrats again.

    Peace.

    Hi Tumer,

thank you for your comment. You are right to use microphones for the guitar. First I have try it, but the two Acc.Guitars I have used are sounding like trash that I say “No go” ! After a few minutes, Alexander, the guitar player, was with me and so we give the Ibanez the chance and felt right.
Ok, I have to practice a lot with guitars, I’m a little better with Keyboards, so we go on with this simple methode directly into the PC. We didn’t want to use more time. Alexander was two times in my little studio and we want to go on with the video…

I think next time I will give the Ibanez a try with direct AND microphone record, so I want to use two tracks with different EQ and paning for the right sound. But at first I have to write the song for the little Lady with her big voice…

I think we will use the next 4 weeks to get a result for the next song…

Really nice and great to hear a young voice really singing (I think Adele has been a good influence on young singers, where they are putting emphasis on soul and feeling and less on being perfectly in tune)…. I have to agree with the comment on the acoustic, but perhaps rather than panning the DI and mic’d tracks, maybe try blend them using the mic for warmth and the DI for presence. Overall though, very soothing treatment. And she is a diamond!
