I am finally on a new iMac and finishing up with the 2008 Mac Pro.
When you start to download you can’t just state you want the SDx without re d/loading the samples !!!
Do i really have to download gigs of samples i already have just so i can get a SDX to show up so i can point it to the Libraries.
I ask because i have quite a few
What is the normal procedure for this.?
Open Superior 3, go to Settings > Libraries and add/set the paths to the SDXs.

S1 libraries can’t be used in S3. You can set the paths to them in S2 and use them in S2.

Was asking about S2 not S3.
Btw what is the way to do this for EZD2 i have a similar situation i guess now i have installed EZD2 , i already have my Ex’s working in SD2 but EZD2 only sees
Modern and Vintage so not sure on how to get that connected for the new iMac.
Libraries are on external.do i need some alias on my home drive?
EDIT
Figured it out It did need an alias and then asked to be pointed to files so all good.
Just would like to know if/ why not we can download the S1 libraries ?
I see it in my PM but says nothing to d/Load
It was on an old nuked Drive.

No, sorry, they can’t be downloaded. You need to copy them from the original DVD(s).
