    Hi,

are you using the Mute Hit articulations? If so adjust the length via velocity.
You can also Mute by hitting the regular articulation and use AfterTouch.

Thanx – I figured the velocity thing out and don’t got AfterTouch.

I just added a request cos it would really simplify my work and flow. So would it be possible to implant that later on?

    Thanx

How? I notice that a velocity of 127 results in an immediate choing. Any other value results with the same pre-recorded length just in a different volume. Which is not unexpected for velocity. I would fin it more intuitive if the mute articulations would react to a note off event.

After fiddling with a MIDI editor I found out:

Channel Aftertouch: any value >=65, but only if previous value <65

Polyphone Aftertouch: any value >=65, but only if previous value BEFORE note on <65

Why isn’t this info to be found in the documentation?

I guess it’s because it conforms to the standard behaviour
    of e-drum modules.

Btw, if you have a choice you would use polyphone aftertouch
    rather than channel pressure.

    Hi,

are you using the Superior Drummer 3 standalone or as a plugin?

If you are using it as a plugin, your host may be filtering out the aftertouch messages.

Check in the MIDI Monitor Property box on the drums page if SD3 receives aftertouch.
