It would be wonderful to have multiple colors for the star icons so you could have keep track of multiple search solutions.
After a search the star icon is used to mark potential grooves.
Currently, the user has to unmark the choices to work on a different portion of a song or a different song, losing the selections they have found.
If the space next to the star icon at the top had an additional star and a down arrow for color selection, as shown in the graphic attachment, the user could have different colored stars to choose providing separate lists of grooves that they could refer back to.
Select a color using the right star and use the left star as it currently is used.
The interface could use the colors from the Song Creator to provide gray, blue, yellow, purple, green and orange stars: six lists that you could work with without losing your selections.
