Hi,
I’m currently running SD2 and SD3 with a few extra libraries and MIDI packs on a Win 7 PC, using Cubase Pro 10.
I’m about to move on to a new Win 10 machine running Cubase 10.5
Both machines will have the same storage layout with 4 drives: one eachfor OS, libraries, audio and archive although new machine will be SSDs and old are HDDs.
Not sure about the best (quickest/most efficient) way to move my Toontrack stuff over, although presumably I can just copy all the libraries from one drive to another. I really don’t want to download them all again as it took forever!
Outwith that can I just run product manager to install SD 2 and 3 on the new machine? Will it then find the libraries in the new location?
What about the licences? How do they get moved? I’d like to keep my Toontrack products going for a while on both old and new machines whilst I make the changeover. Is that possible?
If anyone can advise as to the best order to do things to make the process as smooth as possible that would be really helpful.
TIA
