Pretty sef-explainatory. I’ve already installed EZDrummer and an expansion kit. I badly need the sound files to be on my external drive. My version of Pro Tools is choking on it.
Also I’m on a Mac.

Yes, if you have installed the latest updates of your Toontrack software, you have the latest version of an application called ‘SoundMover’ in your ‘Applications/Toontrack’ folder.
Run this and point it to the location where your ‘EZdrummer’ folder, with its subfolders, should end up.
After SoundMover has finished, this location is where future EZX:s and Toontrack MIDI will be installed.

I got a WD 1 TB external hard drive from http://www.wiseguys.co.nz/ with free in-build software – Data Transfer Accelerator. It does the data moving at fastest speed.
Moved my EZdrummer libraries to a new SSD. Now EZdrummer wont start. I have searched my whole PC, there is NO soundmover utility anywhere!
Soundmover is a Mac utility. On PC, you’ll need to uninstall EZdrummer and EZXs. When you reinstall EZdrummer using the ‘Custom’ install option, you choose a path on your SSD. Any subsequently installed EZXs will also install there.

Scott, I’ve been searching for the soundmover utility and cannot find it anywhere. Where kind I find it?
It should be included in the latest installers.

Hi Scott,
Mac Pro, OSX 10.10.3 here. I’ve checked all the appropriate locations for the soundmover utility and likewise, I cannot find it. Literally just updated the software and all I have in the Toontrack folder in my Applications folder is the EZdrummer standalone app and an alias of a folder “Documentation.” I’ve also checked all the usual spots on both system and user libraries. Is there anyway to download the utility independently? Thanks!
Soundmover is for moving sounds when using Ezdrummer 1. If you have Ezdrummer2, see this FAQ for moving and resetting the path:

Hey Scott, how can i move my sound library with Superior Drummer 2.2?
Thanks.
Move the SL-(library name) to where you want it and relink the path on the S2 Settings page.

Does anyone know how to safely move libraries for superior drummer 3?
Is it the same as it is for SD2?
A few libraries installed on our mac, so we need to move them to an external hard drive and make sure the rest of them install on the external as well.
Any help appreciated. Thank you.

Pretty the same as SD2, in practice.
Please refer to Section 9.3.3 of the SD3 Operation Manual:
