Mixing/Microphone Question

Hi I’m using superior drummer 2 in Cubase. Just wondered if there was a way to solo one microphone for a section of the midi track. For example if I had an interlude in a song and I only wanted to hear the OH mic during it, is this possible? Or would it need to be a new project, or a new audio/midi track?

What I would do is multi out from the S2 mixer to the Cubase mixer. Then you can automate the Cubase mixer to achieve the result.

See this video. It’s using an old version of Cubase but the process is similar.
