Hello there !
I’m considering buying EZmix to simplify the process of mixing my instrumental rock songs (Already own EZdrummer 2 and EZ bass which i totally DIG)
Couple of questions though :
1 – Is EZmix has its use cases when the guitars are already recorded with an amp (Using on UAD OX for this). I’m not interested with the amp simulation part of the program but is there anything regarding mixing those kind of guitar tracks ?
2 – The sounds library of ezdrummer 2 and EZbass sounds already pretty well mixed to my ear, is there any use for ezmix in this context ?
Thanks a lot and sorry for my newbies questions !
The thing is, EZmix won’t know what is working and what isn’t. Presets are limited in that way. You may get lucky and stumble across the right preset for the fix, but maybe not. That’s when I reach for a manual fix (eq, compressor, whatever) and dig in and fix. Presets may get you in that ballpark but manual adjustments will get you on the field.
