Missing Hi-Hat CC info

I’m having trouble when trying to record drums. When I record, the cc4 info from my hihat is missing large swaths after the fact. I never have issues while recording. The hihat reacts just fine while I play. However, listening back, there will be large portions of information missing. Sometimes stuff is late from where it should be by a couple of measure.
