hi
i`m new to logic pro x and i was thinking on buying some midi packs to compose the drums for my songs and i don`t know if it will work on the new feature in logic x called “drummer”.
i don`t have ezdrummer neither superior, which i intend to buy anytime soon
will the midi packs works on drummer in logic pro x?

They are Normal Midi so they would work once they are imported or on the midi track.
as for browsing/auditioning them and indeed buying them without at least EZ Drummer ???
yes, i was thinking on buying them to work with drummer in logic (editing and auditioning) and then, get superior when i get free money

I dont think you can do the process just with logic and Drummer.
The TT Midi files all live in EZ or SD2’s midi file browsers and are easily auditioned in sync with your hosts tempo.
I have used My Midi, TT’s midi with Drummer in Logic 10 .it will work as expected but you need at least EZdrummer for initial audition/ DnD.
an alternative would be to purchase EZplayer pro, which contain a GM wrapper, which should remap adequately the grooves to play back correctly in Drummer. out of the box, they certainly won’t play properly, particularly the hi-hat performance.
