Hey, I’m a songwriter/arranger and just bought EZ Drummer 2. While I’ve had good luck messing with the grooves, I realized I’d probably be better off having more MIDI libraries to work with. I write in the vein of Prince, Steely Dan, Beck, Kimbra, and Hall & Oates. I’ve already settled on the Funk and Fusion packs- what are another 4 I should add to the bundle?
You can use the Show Webshop MIDI in EZD2 and brows all of the Toontrack libraries to find the best ones for you.

Hi,
I’m interest by EZ Drummer 2, but I don’t know witch bundle to choose. EZ Songwriter or ESX bundle ?
What is the difference between Drum Midi Pack and ESX extension ?
I’m songwriter (singer/guitarist) playing rock, metal and pop. I’m looking for a lot of grooves more than drums sound (I hope to find good one include) for glue to my songs…
Is someone can help me.
Thx,
Ben. (Sorry for my English, I’m French 😉
Toontrack Drum MIDI packs contain just MIDI grooves and no sounds.
EZX packs contain MIDI grooves as well as drum kit sounds.

Hello – I too am interested to know which midi packs are recommended for the typical Rock track? I have quite a few packs but find that standard, every day, straight rock drum grooves that a drummer would play aren’t readily available in the packs I have. Which packs do you recommend for simple solid rock / pop grooves?
