Hello. I have a Roland TD-25KV kit with CY-12C crash cymbals. You probably already know this, but these Roland crash cymbals have 2 triggers and a choke. So they issue 2 MIDI notes (Bow and Edge) and a Poly Pressure command for the choke. EZD2 ( and I assume, SD2?) assigns 2 MIDI notes to crash cymbals but one of them is a choke (the other seems to be the Bow). So there is one less MIDI note. The Edge is missing.
However, the ride in EZD2 does have all the same notes. The Roland CY-13R ride has three triggers and a choke meaning 3 MIDI notes and the choke Poly Pressure command. EZD2 has 4 MIDI notes. 3 plus a choke. Bell, Bow, and Edge. That works out perfectly.
So my request would be that Toontrack take the same concept used in the ride and apply it to the crashes (less the Bell). Make it so that each crash has a MIDI note for the Bow and a MIDI note for the Edge.
I did recently purchase SD2, but have not begun to use it yet. So if SD2 does have the extra crash cymbal note, can you please let me know?
Thanks.
