I’m fairly new to Superior drummer 2, but I’ve managed to set up my Alesis DM10 studio kit with SD2. The Alesis mappping was close enough, but I had to map the odd drum /cymbal using the learn function. I wasn’t getting the sounds I wanted from the Avatar kit, so I bought the progressive foundry sdx (fantastic kits and presets!)
My question is, it appears that each kit and preset needs further mapping. Is that correct? So I would save mapping presets and then save them as combined presets overall so that each time I load a combined preset all is ok?
Is this the way to go? Any advice would be great.
