Midi Interface (Like Focusrite)

Hello

I have a TD50 and want to get SD3. I see some setups with a Focusrite. Is this needed for live playback?

I don’t want a complicated setup. Just want to be able to play with headphones on and hear SD3 samples trigger rather than the once in the TD50. I have an iMac.

I will want to record further down the line but I’m guessing that’s not a problem either.

Hi Jimmi,

I’m not an expert on the TD-50 but I am quite sure it can operate as both a MIDI interface and an Audio interface via USB.
