Midi for extra toms

Hi,

So they came out with Fields of Stone and now Hitmaker that have kits with 5 rack toms as well as octobans and rototoms.  But there is very little MIDI that actually uses all the extra toms.  I know that I can program grooves to use them, but it seems like a lot of work.

 

Why would they have these kits and not put out any MIDI packs that utilize them to their fullest?  Please let me know if I’m missing something.  You can only use the “In the air tonight” groove so many times!

Hi,

Sorry if it is bad form to revive an old question, but it still remains.  Now, besides the two I mentioned, there is also Area 33 origin with 10 rack toms!  I would love to see a MIDI pack that has grooves to utilize more than just 2 or 3 rack toms but I’m not aware of any.  Even the MIDI for octobans and rototoms is very limited and specific.  If I have a kit with rack toms and rototoms or octobans I would like to have grooves that use them together.  Why make a kit with all this stuff and then no MIDI for them?  Again, am I missing something?
