Hi – this is my first time on this forum. I recently discovered and bought EZDrummer 2 and it’s amazing! I am a long-time Mixcraft user and I am asking them the same question I am asking you. I know you don’t specifically list Mixcraft as being compatible, but maybe you can suggest something. When I incorporate a Midi file from EZD into Mixcraft (v8), I have the option to select EZD in Mixcraft, which I do. But the drum sounds are diff in Mixcraft. This happens whether I drag and drop the EZD file into Mixcraft or export from EZD as a Midi file and import it into Mixcraft. Any obvious things to try? I have a workaround which is to export the EZD midis as wav files, but they’re big (of course) and it seems like Mixcraft ought to be able to play the midi files with the same sound. I’m not experience manipulating midis so I’m hoping there’s an obvious thing to try. I have tried all the available Mixcraft sounds and none fix this. EZD is a phenomenal product for my use, which is writing and recording music for personal use, so great job on that. I’ve also spent more money on expansion packs than on the actual software! Doug
In case anyone sees this, I was able to get this fixed with the help of the Mixcraft forum.
