Hey all,I use my first post here to show my work, I’m trying to publicize it in hopes to receive suggestions from people more experienced than me.
MicroDRUM is the most economical and simple way to build MIDI drum trigger. It’s based on Arduino and can be used with a huge variety of e-pads / e-cymbals, up to 48 inputs! The output can be sent to a PC and converted to drum sounds through VST like BFD, Addictive Drums and Superior Drummer, etc. … The accompanying software allows features not found in any similar solution: a direct interface with VST (without USB-MIDI cable), record, playback of tablature to practice on, etc. … This is a Open Hardware product made in Italy!

I do not like to do advertising around microdrum… but since I have recently updated my project, I thought it would interest someone. I made an app for iPhone / iPad that lets you control the microdrum module (certainly more comfortable than any button of the current modules) but also plays the samples loaded: http://microdrum.altervista.org/blog/microdrum-app-on-ipad-video/ All your suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I’m spending much time in this project.
