Looking for certain Midi Grooves.. not sure where to post

Hi! I play a lot of punk and pop punk music. I seriously own a ridiculous amount of groove packs. I write a lot of stuff thats a good mix between new found glory, Four year strong, Old blink 182, Pennywise..mxpx.. stuff like that.. I have a really hard time finding groove packs that are similar to those genres. my double kick drum always follows the palm muting of the guitar.. and its weird patterns and i cant seem to find any packs that have what im looking for. I’ve gotten the groove monkee punk pack, i’ve been looking into the brooks wackerton(bad religion) pack from platinum samples.. just cant justify spending 60$ for midi grooves and im pretty sure, even though that pack will probably be useful for when i write for my punk band.. for what im writing at home i dont think it has what i need. So basically what im asking .. is there anyone on here thats run into the same problem as me? Where can i find these grooves? im not very good at making my own and really cant grasp the concept of making and saving my own i just get frustrated. If anyone has made any would you be willing to share?

It sounds like your real problem might be that you don’t have the exact kick patterns that you want.

I would work on finding something close, then editing the kicks in your host. Cut/paste, carry on…

I agree with the post above. If you haven’t picked up the Library of the Extreme 2 pack, I would suggest that too. There are some odd skank beats that you may be able to work with… especially if it’s just a matter of moving some kicks around.

Where can i get Library of the extreme 2? or which one is it? cause on the site they have, death and thrash, blast and fills and fill insanity.. looking at all them i think you’re probably referring to Death and Thrash. Just wanted to make sure. For 29$ i could pick it up and give a try at least. ill just bundle it with the Dirt and Randy Staub Ez Mix expansions and maybe ill pick up the brooks wackerton midi grooves from platinum samples.. i think from what i read if you buy the songs, it actually seperates the songs for you so you dont have to drag the whole damn midi file in there and then cut and paste.
