Logic Pro X opening EZDrummer Demo instead of EZDrummer2

I used the demo in Logic Pro and it ran out. I decided to buy EZD 2 and went through install, etc. Logic does not give an option for a EZD2 AU only the demo which is locked because of the ten day limit. Any recommendations?

Edit: Would like to add, I’ve tried deleting the AU cache, I have tried deleting the demo in library/audio/plug-ins/vst and while terminal is now telling me i have nothing in the folder, EZD demo still shows up.

OP here. I’m not quite sure why none of that seemed to help, but after a third reinstall everything seems to be working.
