I’ve been using FruityLoops 3.5.6 to create drum tracks since I started making music. Now I’ve got Superior Drummer 2.2.1 and I’d like to use these old FL tracks on it. I saved one track as a MIDI file (there was no option to format it as GM or Toontrack GM Extended) and added it to the MY MIDIFILES folder of the Groove Player, but when I click on it I don’t hear any sound and there are no “Kit Pieces.” My DAW is Sonar 8.5 and I can’t drag the MIDI file from the Groove Player into the DAW either. I’m obviously not doing it right. Is there any way for me to convert my old FL tracks into a Superior Drummer compatible format?
