yeah I already posted about that yesterday – no response yet but assume it will be fixed in an update soon. For now just change the power hand to your gong for that lovely big splash at the end of your metal masterpiece.

    The end?? How predictable. 😀

We just released an update to the Legacy of Rock SDX MIDI which solves the situation. Let us know how it works for you after updating.

Hi guys ! Just purchased the legacy of rock sdx, really exited to try it out. Unfortunately I don’t have enough storage space , so I’m downloading it to an external drive. How should I tell sd3 to find it? Is it possible to work inside the plugin in my daw with the new library available in the external drive? Tnx! Really loving sd3 ❤️🥁

You tell SD3 where you moved the files to – google it and you’ll see loads of tips and videos how to do it. Make sure you do it in the DAW version as well or it won’t work in there.

When you tell the installer to install the library on your external drive, it will update SD3 as to the location of the library. I run all of my libraries  on an external raid without issue.

On a Mac, if you’ve already installed it,

    1. In SD3, go to Settings | Libraries/Paths and scroll down to find the SDX you’re looking for. Click on the down arrow on the far right of the row with the three short horizontal lines and select Change Path… It will open a Finder window (I assume it would be an Explorer window on Windows 10) to the current path of the library directory.
    2. If you want to move it to another drive, close out of the program, open up a new Finder window to navigate to directory that contains the library and manually copy the directory from where it currently lives to where you want it to live on the other drive.
    3. Open up SD3 again and go back to the Libraries/Paths then to Change Path… When the Finder window opens navigate to where you copy/pasted the directory and select it then select Open at the bottom of the window. This tells SD3 to look for the Library at that location instead of where it had.

You can also just use Add Alternative Library Path if you want to use both locations but unless there’s a reason to, not worth doing IMO.

Also note that on the Libraries/Path window you can set which Disk Type the disk is where the Library lives – SSD (solid state) or HDD (disk drive).

    HTH.
