Latency Question

Here’s my setup:
Roland TD-20 sound module
25 ft MIDI cord going from the module to Digidesign 002 rack
Firewire out of rack into Windows XP Pro w/ Service Pack 3
Pro Tools 8 and Toontrack Solo
ASIO4ALL driver

I just recently got Superior Drummer 2.0 and am unsure how to get rid of the latency. The latency setting is as low as it can go and the “Local Control” setting on my module is set to “OFF”. However, the latency is still very noticable. Could the length of the MIDI cord be the issue or is it something within TT Solo/Pro Tools 8 that needs to be adjusted.
