Hi everybody,
I am trying to get SD3 to work for since yesterday but can’t get the results I need. My system: Windows10, i7, 16GB RAM, internal audio device (Asio4All), Reaper
I want to use SD3 exclusively to replace recorded live drums. I want to keep the “real” overheads + room mics and only replace the close mics of BD, snare, toms.
I understand how Tracker works and within SD3 everything works fine – importing files, cleaning hits, etc.. Howerver, there is a time offset between the signals from SD3 and the overheads in the Reaper project. It is tiny, but enough so that it sounds like the drummer is playing flams on all drums, all the time.
I also get the off-set when loading the exact same overhead tracks that are used in the DAW into SD3 and playing them at the same time.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best,
Martin
